Exhibits
I waited several years before entering exhibits, not really having the confidence I needed. It’s a very vulnerable experience to have your work shown to the public and judged by very famous and prestigious artists. However, in the last couple of years, my confidence has grown and I’ve entered several exhibits. I found it to be a good experience, and one that I feel is necessary to continue to push myself to become the artist I know I am and can be. You can bet that with this newfound confidence this list will only get longer!
Watch out world, here I come…
NAWS Fall Juried Exhibit – Intimate Artistry
Mountain Artists Guild and Gallery | Fall 2023
To my surprise, I not only sold this piece, but also won the Best of Show award for the Northern Arizona Watercolor Society Fall Juried Exhibit held at the Mountain Artists Guild in Prescott, Arizona. It was noted for its use of lost and found edges and the way the hair subject blends in with the background. It was such an honor to receive this award among so many other very talented artists.

Together at HeArt
Big Fork Cultural Center | Fall 2020
The Big Fork Cultural Art Center invites local artists every summer to enter their art work in an exhibit to help fund the Cultural Center. Every summer it has a new theme. This summer the theme was Together at HeArt in light of the coronavirus. I am in great support of the Cultural Center who does so much to support local artists and bring the world of art to our community.
Lewistown Art Center 2020
Online | Spring 2020
Because of the COVID pandemic, this exhibit was online this year. Fortunately, restrictions were lifted so my husband and I could go see my paintings in person. He loves to attend the exhibits I enter and I love and appreciate his support.
Bigfork Cultural Art Center 2019 Exhibit
Fall 2019
The theme of this show was “Celebrating Joy” and I entered 3 paintings and sold one! Talk about building confidence!
